Admissions Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution for higher education (or equivalent)
- Official transcripts from any institutions of higher education attended
- Grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for the last 60 hours of undergraduate work or post-baccalaureate study
- The GRE exam has been waived as an admissions requirement
- Three letters of recommendation, two of which should be from previous professors
- Statement of purpose consistent with the goals of the program; explain why you are interested in attending FIU’s MALACS Program*
- One academic writing sample that is no longer than 30 pages in length
- Immunizations: All students must comply with FIU’s vaccination requirements including proof of immunization documents sent to the Health Care and Wellness Center
