Support for Haitian Students

Jean-Claude Garcia-Zamor Scholarship Degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in or accepted for admission to FIU. Applicants must demonstrate unmet financial need, as determined by the federal financial aid form (FAFSA) from the Office of Financial Aid, and be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent resident. At the time of application, student will affirm in writing that they are of Haitian American descent. For the purposes of this scholarship, “Haitian American” is defined as an individual of Haitian ancestry who, at the time of application, is an individual who lives in the United States and is either a United States citizen or has permanent resident status in the United States. +More Info

Brittany Comeau Memorial Scholarship Degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled in or accepted for admission to FIU. Applicants must be of Haitian descent, in good academic standing, and must submit an official transcript along with a one page personal statement describing his/her involvement in the community, their financial need and the reason(s) he/she believes he/she is qualified for the scholarship. +More Info
