LACC Associate Director Elected to Executive Committee of CLASP

The Consortium of Latin American Studies Program (CLASP) elected LACC Associate Director, Liesl B. Picard, to the post of Vice-President/President-Elect. Ms. Picard's two years of service as Vice-President begins January 2011, followed by an additional two-year term as President. CLASP consists of nearly 60 member institutions that work together to promote Latin American and Caribbean Studies through research, teaching, outreach and training at all educational levels, while facilitating resource sharing and collaboration among Latin American and Caribbean Studies programs throughout the US.
