With support from the FIU Office of the Provost and FIU Study Abroad, LACC is proud to re-launch its Haiti Study Abroad as part of its 16th Annual Haitian Summer Institute. The study abroad is designed to further expose students to Haiti, its culture and its people through a one-week trip to the historical city of Cap Haitien, and provides participants with a unique opportunity to further immerse themselves in Haiti Creole while experiencing the country first-hand.
Full-day conference examined news coverage of the region with a particular focus on femicide, human trafficking, domestic violence, child sexual abuse and cyber sex crimes. Led by FIU professors, policy experts and media professionals including Univison's Teresa Rodriguez, Judith Torrea and Mirta Rodriguez Calderon.

LACC’s Politics & International Relations in Argentina study abroad program is an intensive four-week program designed to foster an understanding of Latin American international relations through the experience of living and studying in one of the most vibrant cosmopolitan cities in the Americas.
Now entering its 16th year, the Haitian Summer Institute is a six-week program in Miami and Haiti designed for anyone interested in acquiring basic conversational proficiency in Haitian Creole and also for those students who wish to continue their Haitian Creole Language training at the intermediate and advanced levels.
